Danielle Varga is an award-winning nonfiction producer who has been working in documentary film for over a decade. She most recently produced SEEDS, directed by Brittany Shyne, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival 2025 in U.S. Documentary Competition and was short-listed for an Oscar. Varga recently received the 2025 Sundance Institute | Amazon MGM Studios Producer Award for nonfiction film. Her projects focus on storytelling that is creatively distinct, powerful and provocative. She has produced films under the banner of her production company, Walking Productions, and through collaborations with other filmmakers and production companies making bold and singular work.
